I have released the first chapter of my new game, A Dream About a Room With Four Doors, to the waking world! This was made with Godot 4 during its rapid iteration process over these last many months.
A Dream About a Room With Four Doors is about an individual who has been haunted by a recurring nightmare for nearly their entire life, one in which they must solve a series of strange puzzles before being 'allowed' to wake up. At the time this game begins, the stakes of the dream seem to have grown -- whatever is causing this dream to happen is now a presence within it. It's becoming more difficult to find the way out and wake up, and our protagonist is worried they may not wake up at all if they can't escape.
This game is part of a larger narrative, and is an 'Early Access' title. Fully functional at this stage, a playthrough consists of solving each of the current room puzzles and getting out of the nightmare. The Dream Demon is after you, but there is another entity that may want to help you!
More dreams will be added, and the narrative will expand as I continue work on this story. Purchase of this game will help me have the time and resources to focus on its development and upload new content for it!
