I present the first update of significance to A Dream About a Room With Four Doors! Some bug fixes, adjustments to a few of the puzzles to make them slightly less evil, and the beginning of content updates!
As the game currently stands, here's what you'd be getting into by playing:
The game-flow is a series of increasingly challenging puzzles, around the theme of escaping your recurring nightmare. With this update, the number of puzzles are at 20. If you fail a puzzle, the Dream Demon will gently escort you backwards to the previous one. Almost every puzzle has a random element to it, so memorizing what-door-where may not help you -- you're better off remembering the nature of the challenge rather than the layout.
I have a long numbered list of new puzzles that will be implemented. As the game grows, there will be checkpoints of sorts and a save system for same. In it's current state, this game is a marathon of tricks and traps!
The future plan is for this to be part of a larger narrative involving the unseen and nightmare tormented protagonist, across dreams and time and monsters playing with their food until the food bites back!
